About Me
My passion for women and children's health started young, volunteering in Labor and Delivery as a candy striper. After a Biology degree and Chemistry minor at UNC-Chapel Hill, I spent over a decade in Shanghai, China, where I worked with Operation Smile on medical missions throughout China and began my career as a birth doula, lactation educator/counselor, and prenatal yoga teacher, deepening my commitment to supporting parents and babies along the way.
I believe fully supporting moms means caring for their mental health, not just their physical journey through pregnancy and birth. After years of volunteering with the Postpartum Support Center, I took on the role of Maternal Mental Health Programs Manager, overseeing perinatal classes, support groups, 1:1 peer counseling, and the ROSE Program to help ease the transition to motherhood and lower the risk of postpartum depression. I'm also City Lead for Marin's CircleMoms group, supporting new moms of babies 0–3 months.
I'm a DONA-certified birth doula, a Lactation Educator and Counselor through UC San Diego, and an E-RYT 200 and RPYT with Yoga Alliance, with additional training through Elizabeth Davis's Heart & Hands Midwifery Intensives and Spinning Babies. My focus is helping parents feel educated, supported, and cared for through the perinatal period.
